Our locations

Whitstable

Welcome to Whitstable!

Our first Grain & Hearth location is where all of our baking happens, with fresh goods hitting the counter throughout the day.

As well as brunch and our beautiful pastries, breads and sourdough sandwiches, you can browse a selection of artisan products and ceramic homeware.

Whitstable is also where our workshops and pop-ups take place. Join us for intro to sourdough, pizza making, hand lamination and rye classes taught by our very own head baker and owner, Adam.

We have a fantastic space for your morning coffee inside and out — the courtyard is gorgeous in the sunshine! See you soon.

Faversham

Welcome to Faversham!

Our second bakery cafe opened towards the end of 2022, just off Preston Street near the Alexander Centre.

All the breads, cakes and pastries are baked fresh in Whitstable and driven over each morning by one of our bake team. We serve sandwiches and toasties each day, freshly assembled on site, plus a range of deli provisions to go with your sourdough to take home.

Speciality coffee and gorgeous teas too — we use All Things Bloom for our house coffee, with guest roasters including Hard Lines and Oddkin (and the decaf is super delicious).

The shop was a bookshop for a long time before we took on the lease — Adam even used the old bookshelves to make the coffee counter. It's a very old, listed building with a wonky charm and beams galore; we're really proud of this little shop and hope you enjoy your trip there.
