Introduction to Patisserie with Matt Adlard

In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of pastry work, and how to replicate professional techniques in your kitchen at home. By the end of the session, you will be confident in your sweet pastry work as well as your decorating skills. The class will include learning Matt’s signature lemon tart as well as a chocolate hazelnut gateaux voyage.

The class will also cover:

  • How to make Pate Sucree

  • Using Perforated Tart Rings

  • Italian Meringue Demonstration 

  • Piping Techniques 

You will take home at least 4 tarts and 2 individual chocolate cakes.

Matt Adlard is an Instagrammer, TV judge on the Food Network and host of his own online baking school, Bake It Better. Matt started as a self-taught baker 5 years ago and aims to take the stress out of baking. Having taught himself, Matt has made his fair share of mistakes so whether you are a keen baker or you have no experience at all, the class will suit all skill levels!
